A good value for the money. The owner is renovating, so, there are things still scheduled for work. We stayed on a weekend and found the motel clean and fresh, no construction mess, smells, or sounds. The staff were polite and friendly. The completed work was professional done. Our room was a bit small, but comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable. We got a good nights sleep. Like the name says, “Economy Lodge”. It was a good value for the money. We would stay again.

This place was fabulous for my one night stay. I’m putting it in my weekend getaway list for sure, 1)very affordable 2) the place has aged so well and maintained 3) young lady at front desk last night was absolutely so impressive with her knowledge of the area plus her years working at this facility and absolutely loves her job and it shows in her face and expressions of talking about such a wonderful place She works at. And then the breakfast was absolutely amazing and fresh Tom makes some of the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had and I believe breakfast is free unless you use a bargain app then of course it’s not. I can’t wait to visit this area on time off instead of work to enjoy Tom’s food for lunch and dinner and all the places, the young lady was tell me about in the area. It was so foggy when I came in. I didn’t realize there was a lake out in front and she was telling me everything about it. Absolutely cannot wait to come back.

My husband and I stayed 4 nights here. The room was a good size even with 2 queens and the bed was very comfortable with 3 fluffy pillows on each bed. There is a long luggage bench by the door which was convenient and gave me room to place some of our toiletries since there wasn't any room in the small bathroom for them. The water pressure from the shower is very weak so it takes time to shower. The hot breakfast of fluffy, real scrambled eggs and sausage links, waffle maker, bagels, muffins, etc. is great and they provide coffee 24/7 although my husband complained that the cups are really small. Also, they lack fresh fruit and the orange juice from the juice machine was like flavored water. The indoor pool area needs improvement for sure with the addition of a restroom and pool towels but I did enjoy the hot tub. The staff, comprised of a family from India, is very friendly. I'm told that they plan on having a full service restaurant on site serving Thai and American cuisine in the near future. I look forward to that. We do plan on coming back here again for sure!

The hotel is fine, the staff is wonderful. HOWEVER, they are opening a Thai restaurant inside the hotel called Rice and Shine. I had the PRIVILEGE of previewing and sampling the food. It was PHENOMENAL! 5 STAR ALL THE WAY! Definitely recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at the Econo Lodge in Manistee this week. The rooms and halls were clean and inviting. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. Every night, when we returned to our rooms, we felt at home. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfasts every morning. Better than any other we have experienced as a "free breakfast". The coffee was absolutely the best. It was obvious the staff were hard workers and very friendly. I would recommend this Econo Lodge to anyone. Thank you, Staff!

We stayed here for 2 nights on our way through. The stay was great! The staff were very friendly and were very helpful with any issue we had. The rooms were clean but need updated a bit. The pool & spa area were very calming but also need a bit if an update. Breakfast was good Overall our stay was great 10-10 and we'll definitely stay at this destination again

The casino was booked so we stayed here for the New Year, it was a great stay over! Clean, spacious rooms. Available and present staff. Quick ride or walk to river street. Was surprised to learn they offer a shuttle to and from the casino. If you’re looking for a quick place to rest and pointers from local staff, this place is it. Would stay here again.

This property has newer owners and a lot of potential. Some things have been updated with more to go. I cant wait to see what improvements will come the next time we stay. The rooms are very clean, love that!! The pool and hot tub are great. Some have complained about bubbles instead of jets on the in room jacuzzi, I completely disagree. The bubble tubs are so much more effective at massaging every part of your body vs having to chase a jet. We will be back next year. Great location and view across from the hotel. Keep the improvements going.
